Abstract

This study aimed to reveal the reality of virtual education in light of the spread of the coronavirus from the point of view of teachers of the basic stage in the departments of education in the north and east of Gaza, and to achieve the objectives of the study was based on the descriptive analytical method, and the sample of the study consisted of (50) teachers in the directorates of education in the north and east of Gaza who taught during the period of the spread of the Corona virus through the virtual education system, and collected the necessary data using a questionnaire with a stabilizing factor (0.804) and applied to the sample of the study. The results of the study revealed that the evaluation of the study sample for the effectiveness of virtual education in the light of the spread of coronavirus from their point of view was average, and their assessment of the field of continuity of virtual education and the field of obstacles to the use of virtual education and the field of interaction of teachers with virtual education, and the field of interaction of students in the use of virtual education medium, and recommended the conduct of training workshops in the field of virtual education for both teachers and students and help get rid of all obstacles that prevent the use of the default system followed education followed The need to combine formal education with virtual education in higher education institutions in the future
