Objective: To apply the strategy of mantle of the expert in order to find solutions to the problem of tourism in Palestine in light of the pandemic, as the issue of tourism is one of the topics raised in the eleventh grade curriculum. Thus, technology is used within this project as a tool for communication and as a product that is used in multiple and different contexts. These elements combine to develop the students' English language skills.
How can the pioneers of the tourism industry see the features of the future of travel around the world after this setback? Among the options and ways that can contribute to changing the ways of tourism and finding alternative solutions for regular tourism and travel in light of the pandemic is virtual tourism, which allows individuals to move and enjoy seeing various tourist places using the latest technological technologies and through smart improved reality applications. Through, the eleventh grade students can contribute to thinking to find solutions to the tourism crisis in light of the pandemic by simulating reality and working to intensify their efforts and expertise in contributing to the preparation of the virtual platform for tourism. The students were enrolled as dramatic characters who are experts in the field of electronic content designer and community influencers who carry out tasks requested by the creators of the global platform for virtual tourism. Through this, they learn what is required of them in the English language curriculum, as there are two units in the eleventh grade curriculum that deal with the subject of tourism in an extensive manner.
