الملخص

This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of student-produced CapCut videos in enhancing the learning and retention of English tenses among tenth-grade Palestinian EFL students in public schools. The study adopted a quasi-experimental design with experimental and control groups using pre- and post-tests. The sample consisted of (60) female students divided equally into two groups. The study tools included pre- and post-tests to measure mastery of English tenses, in addition to semi-structured interviews and video analysis. The results revealed statistically significant differences in favor of the experimental group, with large effect sizes, indicating the effectiveness of student-generated videos in improving both learning and retention of English tenses. The findings also showed increased student motivation and engagement. The study recommended integrating video production activities into English language teaching, training teachers on digital tools, and promoting experiential learning approaches.
